East Coast Windows & Doors (ECW) launched its operation in 1996 as an impact window and door repair and installation company in Florida. By 1998, ECW became incorporated and quickly built a reputation for excellence, growing largely through referrals. In 1999, ECW expanded further by acquiring the window division of a larger general contractor. What began in a small storage bay has since grown into one of the region’s most trusted names in window and door protection.

East Coast Windows now operates out of a 10,575-square-foot facility that includes a full product showroom, offices, and warehouse space. Edward J. Morris
Ed has been in the window industry for over 25 years. He started as an installer and worked his way up to running the window division of a large general contractor. He later purchased that same window division from the general contractor after getting his glazing license in 1996. He was able to build ECW into what it is today starting with the relationships he developed while running the window division. In 2002 Ed got his general contractor’s license but still specializes solely in impact windows & impact doors.

Sales Team
Our sales team is not a high pressure boiler plate “sales guy.” We take pride that everyone is extremely knowledgeable in the product they are selling. Here at ECW, we understand that this is a big decision and our sales team is there to address any questions or concerns you may have to ensure that, in the end, you are satisfied and comfortable with you purchase.
Engineering
ECW has been working with the same engineering firm since 2004. Over the years we have built a great working relationship with them and know we can count on them to get the job done right. When necessary, they provide us with site specific wind load calculation and design pressure to make sure the impact windows/doors you have purchased are the product you need to help protect your family and possessions.
Permitting Department
We have our own in-house permitting department. We do not contract out to another company. This way we know it is being done right. We are well versed as to what each city requires in order to get a permit approved. We prepare and file each permit in accordance with the city, county, and state requirements.
Installation Crews
All of our installation crews have been with us solely for no less than 7 years. In this high turnover industry that is a compliment both to us and them. Each project is scrutinized thoroughly to ensure that the installation crew is a perfect fit for both the work to be done and our clients needs.
Project Management
Our experienced in-house Project Managers oversee every job and all installation crews. They are in direct contact with our clients throughout each job to ensure that our clients are satisfied with their impact windows Florida installations.
Service
ECW has our own in-house service department. Our service department is designed to make sure your every need is taken care of. Our trained service technicians meet the city inspector for final inspection and then complete the finish work right there and then.
